Necessity is indeed the Mother of Invention and in 1988, out of desperation during one of the buggiest springs, the first Bug Baffler® shirt was born. Being able to be outdoors gardening and walking was a priority. The garment had to be effective against bug bites, without using insect repellants. It needed to be loose fitting, durable, light-weight, and comfortable. Bug Baffler was the answer.
