In 1908, K®ng, Sigg & Cie. was a manufacturer of leisure goods, kitchenware, and electrical appliances in Biel, Switzerland. After relocating to Frauenfeld in 1916, SIGG® continued its tradition of manufacturing products in the fine Swiss tradition, in recent years focusing exclusively on its core business of drinking bottles.
A SIGG bottle is like no other on the market today. The bottles are extrusion-pressed from a one-piece aluminum blank, which results in uniform, seamless walls. Each bottle's interior is then sprayed with baked-on, taste-inert, food-compatible, stove enamel which is resistant to fruit acids and isotonic drinks.
