Cape Cod Provisions was founded in 1996 on Cape Cod, a major cranberry growing region and the birthplace of commercial cranberry harvesting in the early 1800’s. The company began with one thing – the simple idea of creating a regionally branded line of delicious cranberry confections. Since their beginnings in 1996, they’ve expanded far beyond just their beloved cranberry, to offer decadent, on-trend and crave-worthy indulgences.
In 2016, the company was acquired by Cape Cod Sweets, LLC and is now based in Wareham, MA, in the heart of the northeast United States’ cranberry country. Cape Cod Sweets combines generations of knowledge and experience in agriculture, specifically in the cranberry industry. Their emphasis is on high quality, gourmet fruit and chocolate.
