Blueberry Bliss
Although the wild blueberry is native to the barrens of Down East Maine, a great deal of care and effort is required to produce and harvest a successful crop. The harvest must be completed during a brief five to six week period, which occurs before the first fall frost. Many locals and non-residents combine their efforts to harvest the berries.
