Fishing Report September 1, 2025
Great fishing continues, even though many have turned their attention to hunting seasons. Bear season and some small game seasons are open in some areas, and deer season will be here before you know it, leaving many getting ready for that. Those who are still fishing know the value of late season. Short days and cooler water fire things back up to what most fall anglers consider the best bite of the year. That said, our annual Septemberfest event is going on now. Stop in for great deals, giveaw

Fishing Report August 25, 2025
Hurricane Erin put a damper on the striper fishing for most accounts, but calmer seas are here, and the fish should be back in and hopefully hungry. Fishing Report August 11, 2025
Fishing remains good on all fronts. Some say the occasional cool spells are keeping the fish active. Others couldn’t care less why and are just enjoying it. Striper fishing remains steady and we heard some reports of bluefish in some areas. Salmon fishing on Sebago and Winnipesaukee are steady and we are hearing few complaints. Bass fishing is typical for summer. Deep thick cover for largemouth and deep (about 30 feet) structure for smallmouth.

Fishing Report August 4, 2025
We are hearing more reports of slot sized keeper stripers being caught, along with some big cows. Boston Harbor is hot right now. Plum Island is in a typical August pattern, with night fishing being most productive. Those fishing salmon lakes are reporting much better catches by trolling. Trolling 30 feet to 40 feet at first light and moving as deep as 60 feet seems to be what most reports account for. Some reports claim it doesn’t matter what you troll, as long as you get your lines down
