Fishing Report January 19, 2026

The fishing reports are of stellar fishing, but a bit less pressure with the Patriots playing the Texans in the playoffs. Anglers who are not football fans enjoyed a quiet Sunday with calm and cloudy conditions, which seemed to equate to excellent fishing all around. Reports of some great salmon, splake, and brown trout are coming in from across southern Maine. In New Hampshire, Winnipesaukee, with good ice and good fishing, has been producing a lot of really nice rainbow trout, white and yellow …

Fishing Report January 12, 2026

The warmer weather hasn’t hurt spirits or ice conditions very much. Reports from across Maine and New Hampshire are of quality ice and great fishing. We ran out of live bait over the weekend but are restocked now. Come on in and get geared up! Maine:Gr …

Bass fishing is heating up and this is one of the best times of the year to fish f …

Fishing Report September 22, 2025

Fall is coming in like a lion for most anglers who are still fishing. Lots of striped bass are being caught, but it seems the night bite with live eels has been best based on reports. Lake fishing for salmon, rainbows, and lake trout has been very good, especially for salmon and rainbow on Winnipesaukee and salmon on Sebago. Panfish, such as crappie and white perch, are beginning to put their fall feed bags on and bass are becoming more active. Many smallmouth bass anglers look forward to fall …
