Daiwa Saltiga Slow Pitch Jigging Rod
Daiwa's® flagship line of Saltiga™ rods has finally entered the slow pitch jigging world.
Designed specifically for slow pitch jigging, the Saltiga name brings a wide range of high end features with it. A thin profile blank with a smaller diameter, allows for a sharp quick action and serves to better control the jig. Utilizing HVF Construction, the rod has a a higher volume of fiber and less resin - creating a lighter, stronger and more sensitive blank than standard blank constructions.
The Saltiga Slow Pitch is fitted with Fuji's® premium LRV guides. These offer a single leg to the rear yet maintain a sloped ring for effortless, tangle-free fishing. Every design feature of this guide is aimed at virtually friction free fishing.
- One-piece jigging rod
- HVF Nanoplus blank
- Regular action
- X45 to eliminate blank twist and increase power
- Unique EVA split grip allows for maximum comfort
- Fuji LRV titanium guides
- Lightweight and ergonomic Daiwa reel seat
- Manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty
- Number of guides: 10
To handle sales and distribution in the United States, Daiwa first opened its doors on September 26, 1966, operating from a small facility in Culver City, California. Today, based in Cypress, California, Daiwa Corporation sells tackle throughout the United States, Canada, Central and South America.
From the very beginning, Daiwa's emphasis has been upon innovation and quality. The result is a long list of product features, design, and materials that have become standards for the fishing tackle industry. It is a long-standing record of innovation; the type of innovation that has left a visible mark on the majority of tackle manufactured today - innovation that continues to advance the sport of fishing.
