Eagle Claw

Eagle Claw
A venerable brand of Wright & McGill Co.®, the concept for Eagle Claw® originated in the 1920s with Drew McGill. While fishing on the Colorado River, he witnessed two large eagles circling overhead and marveled at the penetrating power of their talons when they spiraled downward to grip a piece of bare limb. Realizing the penetrating power of those claws, Drew set out to produce a fishhook design with similar power. He designed a fishhook with sweeping curves and sharp points that was forged for strength and was double offset for greater hooking qualities. The rest, as they say, is history.

Today, Eagle Claw offers a complete line of rods, reels and terminal tackle products that you can consistently rely on.
