• FACILITIES SUPERVISOR

  Full-Time (Year-round)

  Facilities Supervisor is responsible for but not limited to supervising a team of 6-10 employees. The Facilities Supervisor supports management in leading the facilities team, including scheduling, training, and directing work and performance management. You will be responsible for, with the support of management, maintaining buildings, grounds, machinery, and equipment. It plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and brand integrity of all store and corporate facilities. This position requires 3-5+ years of experience in facilities, preferably in a retail, commercial, or distribution environment. Ability to communicate with vendors effectively for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, and life safety systems.

  Qualified candidates must have an unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50lbs, availability to respond to 24/7 on-call responsibilities for building emergencies and alarm response.

• FIREARMS RECORDS CLERK

  Full-Time Seasonal

  Firearm Records Clerk are responsible for assisting in the process of submitting NICS checks through regulated channels, contacting vendors for shipping and repair related matters, and maintaining daily paperwork for the department. You will work closely with the firearms sales associates, departmental managers, shipping entities, and training coordinator to ensure accuracy in all stored files as a Firearm Records Clerk. This position requires strong computer skills; including a working knowledge of Microsoft programs, must be able to effectively communicate with customers, coworkers and other business contacts, attention to detail is critical with a strong ability to multi-task. Qualified candidate for this role must be twenty-one years of age or older and be able to pass a standard background check. This position starts as a seasonal position but does have the potential to turn into a year-round employment.

• INTERNET FIREARM SALES

  Full-Time

  Internet Firearm Sales Associates serve as a liaison between our online customers and our retail unit. This position requires exemplary skills in areas such as customer service, telephone communication, sales, time management, problem solving and an intimate knowledge of firearms and the shooting sports/hunting industry. Internet Firearm Sales Associates must be a self-starter who is highly motivated, dependable and detail oriented. Qualified candidates for this role must be twenty-one years of age or older, have the ability to work both autonomously and within a team while managing and growing our customer relationships.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work Mondays 9am-6pm, Tuesdays 11am-7pm, Wednesdays 11am-7pm, Thursdays 11am-7pm, and Sundays 9am-6pm.

• CASHIER MANAGER

  Full-Time

  The Cashier Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front-end cashier team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and friendly customer transactions. This role manages cashier staff budgeting, training, performance, and workflow to maximize productivity and maintain exceptional customer service standards. The Cashier Manager also ensures compliance with cash handling procedures, monitors transaction accuracy, and partners with other departments to support smooth store operations. Candidates must be twenty-one years of age or older, be able to pass a standard background check, work evening, holidays, and weekends as necessary to support business needs.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work one of the following schedules as written:

  • A) Mondays 8am-4pm, Thursdays 11am-7pm, Fridays 8am-4pm, Saturdays 8am-5pm, and Sundays 8am-5pm OR
  • B) Mondays 8am-4pm, Tuesdays 8am-4pm, Wednesdays 8am-4pm, Thursdays 8am-4pm, and Sundays 9am-7pm.

• HOUSEKEEPING/FACILITIES MAINTENANCE

  Full-Time

  On a daily basis the Housekeeping/Facilities Maintenance team ensures that the assigned buildings and surrounding areas provide comfort and safety through effective cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance procedures. This individual as a part of our Housekeeping/Facilities Maintenance team will perform general cleaning duties which include sweeping, dusting, washing windows, washing floors, carpet maintenance, vacuuming, lavatory cleaning, snow removal and other related duties. Housekeeping/Facilities Maintenance candidates must have an unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 7am-3:30pm with one shift being 10:30am-7pm TBD.

• EVENT COORDINATOR

  Kittery Trading Post is an 87-year young retail establishment that is looking for a vibrant person that is experienced in creating then managing events from concept through completion, expanding on KTP’s history of memorable events. The ideal candidate is passionate, creative, detail-oriented, and dedicated to producing only the best events for our community and loyal customers. This person must also have excellent leadership skills and an ability to delegate responsibilities as needed to meet expectations for quality. The best candidate for our company is an event planner who can manage the daily details and use big picture thinking to ensure truly unique experiences. Our Events Coordinator independently manages all events, utilizing on-call staff as needed to support day-of execution.

• CUSTOMER SERVICE CASHIER

  Seasonal

  Our Customer Service Cashiers provide quality service on the registers to our retail customers. Cashiers directly report to the Cashier Assistant Managers with frequent contact/interaction with the Senior Cashiers. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Duties include but are not limited to, learning the company requirements of receiving funds from customers in payment of goods, understanding the retail product basics, disbursing funds, and recording all transaction as a Cashier.

  Qualified candidates must be fourteen years of age or older, available to work weekdays and weekends between the hours of 9am-7pm.

• FRONT END ASSISTANT MANAGER (Cashier Assistant Manager)

  Full-time

  As a member of the cashier management team you will be responsible for daily supervision and motivation of the cashiering and customer service staff. You, a Front End Assistant Manager, will demonstrate and enforce the policies, procedures and philosophies of Kevin, Inc. Front End Assistant Managers directly report to the Divisional Managers of Retail. Requires regular exercise of independent judgment. Supervises and trains employees, assists other managers and supervisors in fulfilling the objectives of the Cashier Department and the Company as a Front End Manager. Has direct supervision over the Cashiers, Customer Service and Senior Cashiers.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work Tuesdays 9am-5pm, Wednesdays 11am-7pm, Thursdays 11am-7pm, Fridays 10am-6pm, and Saturdays 10am-6pm.

• RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

  Retail Sales Associates assist customers as they shop within our store in our Footwear, Men's Clothing, and/or Women's Clothing departments. Our Retail Sales Associates must greet customers, answer questions related to the merchandise and store policies and locate items. Retail Sales Associates must keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked. Sales associates report directly to the retail assistant managers and must be sixteen years of age or older. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work at least two of the below shifts per week in the same department - one being a weekend day - now through the end of the year:

  As Confectioner/Candy Room Associate you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the product for retail sales as well as upholding the cleanliness of the candy room/respective staging areas. Qualified candidates for the Confectioner/Candy Room Associate must be at least sixteen years of age or older, be able to lift up to 25lbs consistently, stand during the duration of the shift at the prep station, be an independent worker, self-motivated, and have the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors.

• CAMPING AND OUTDOOR RECREATION ASSOCIATE

  Camping / Paddle Sports Associates assist customers as they shop within our store. Camping / Paddle Sports Associates must greet customers, answer questions related to the merchandise and store policies and locate items. Sales Associates must keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked. Sales associates report directly to the camping/specialty sports assistant managers. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

  Qualified candidates must be available to work nights and weekends. Many shifts are available.

• WAREHOUSE SELECTOR

  Part-Time/Full-Time (Seasonal)

  On a daily basis Warehouse Associates do the following: price changes, stocking, condenses, pulls and computer locate merchandise for sale in a timely manner with an accurate attention to detail. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work any of the following shifts: Tuesdays 8am-4:30pm, Wednesdays 10:30am-7pm, Thursdays 9am-5:30pm, Fridays 9am-5:30pm, and Saturday 11am-7pm. Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand/walk 5+ hours a day on a concrete warehouse floor.

• WAREHOUSE PRICE CHANGER

  Part-Time (Year-round)

  Warehouse Pricer ensures merchandise is properly priced, investigates any pricing discrepancies and informs management of inconsistencies. Daily use of a cart, handheld scanner, and reports. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work Tuesdays - Thursdays 7am-2:30pm. Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand/walk 5+ hours a day on a concrete warehouse floor.

• WAREHOUSE INVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR

  Full-Time (Year-round)

  On a daily basis the Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator gathers information on the inventory needs from reports, min/max program, floor management, and buyers. Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinators works with the other pod members and the warehouse team to cycle count, pull stock and research inventory problems within the pod’s assigned categories. The individual must demonstrate the ability to work independently.  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work Sundays -Thursdays 7am-3:30pm. Must be able to stand/walk 5+ hours a day on a concrete warehouse floor and must be able to lift 50lbs.

• WAREHOUSE FOOTWEAR SELECTOR/STOCKER

  Full-Time (Year-round)

  On a daily basis the Warehouse Footwear Selector/Stocker stocks, condenses, pulls stock and computer locate merchandise for sale in a timely manner with accurate attention to detail. The individual must demonstrate the ability to work independently. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• NICS CLERK

  Full-Time (Year-round)

  NICS Clerks are responsible for and assisting in the process of submitting NICS checks through regulated channels. You will work closely with the customers, firearms sales associates, departmental managers, and training coordinator to ensure accuracy in all stored files as a NICS Clerk. Data entry skills and confidentiality are a must. This position, NICS Clerk, is a customer facing position. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  Qualified candidates must be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9:30am-5:30pm, and Sundays 9am-5pm.

• ASSISTANT MANAGER, CAMPING AND OUTDOOR RECREATION

This role assists in leading the sales team, maintaining merchandising and inventory standards, supporting operational goals, and delivering exceptional customer service in alignment with the Kittery Trading Post brand and outdoor lifestyle.

• LOSS PREVENTION / ASSET PROTECTION ASSOCIATE

  Loss Prevention/Asset Protection Associates are employed by the company to limit losses from theft by discouraging criminal behavior. Their role is to hold people accountable for the damage caused to the company through stolen products. Must demonstrate courtesy, assistance and a positive attitude toward customers and other employees, initiative, and drive in the performance of duties, demonstrating a willingness to follow direction, maintain clear and concise written records and reports, knowledge of, adherence to, and reinforcement of all company policies and procedures.

  Qualified candidates must be at least eighteen years of age or older and be able to pass a standard background check, and work a combination of days, nights-until 7:15pm, and weekends.

• DOOR GREETER

  Door Greeters are responsible for welcoming customers in an upbeat and energetic manner, demonstrating a familiarity with the Kittery Trading Post history and products we sell. Greeters will provide quality service to our customers, good communication skills, direct customers to departments within the store and be able to answer questions comfortably. Attention to detail is critical with a strong ability to muti-task. Must be able to demonstrate an awareness of basic Loss prevention functions, and complete paperwork associated with the position.
