Nordica's® Women's Sportmachine 3 85 W GW Alpine Ski Boot turns heads and pleases feet! With a wider, yet low-profile 102mm fit and softer shell, it places an emphasis on comfort - without sacrificing performance. Redesigned to offer even greater control and precision, it features a flex just slightly softer than the Sportmachine 3 95 W for a smooth and responsive ride that boosts confidence.

The Isotherm layer, together with Nordica's well known Precision Fit W Primaloft® Insulation Liner Technology, ensures to keep your feet warm and dry all day long. Its 3 Force Construction showcases a new spine and cuff design that enhances efficiency by maximizing the transmission of energy to the ski. Its cuff can also be fine-tuned to better cradle the contours of your calf, creating a neutral stance that enhances balance and minimizes fatigue. In 1939, after years of experience as traders in hides, two brothers Adriano and Oddone Vaccari founded "Nordica" in Montebelluna, making casual footwear. In the after-war years Nordica specialized in ski boots, although continuing to supply the market with cross-country ski shoes and climbing boots.

The sixties saw radical transformations including the introduction of the buckle, a fastening system conceived in Austria and applied for the first time in Italy by Nordica.

The great innovation of 1968, however, was the all-polyurethane ski boot; specific molds (one for the right boot and one for the left) and injection presses were developed.

In 2003, the Nordica brand was purchased by the Tecnica group. The new corporate strategy is aimed at the ski sector with particular attention being paid to the racing and competition product. The feeling between some celebrated names in skiing and the Nordica brand is confirmed once again by the great performances in the world cup and by the recent world championships in St. Moritz.
