Responding to a request from special forces groups, Liberty Ammunition® created the OverWatch™ line of ammo. After testing Civil Defense, these groups were impressed by the way the projectile erupts upon impact. The only concern was the lack of penetration. Liberty Ammunition addressed the issue.

OverWatch projectiles are designed to function similarly to Civil Defense projectiles but offer increased weight for deeper penetration. Capable of penetrating 12-16" in gel blocks, the OverWatch lineup prioritizes Maximum Organ Displacement (MOD).
