Intro to Fly Tying is a great introduction to the fly tiers' art!
This introductory class is designed for the novice tier and for anyone making their initial transition to New England specific flies. Focusing on the basic tools and technique of the art, we will be teaching the foundation skills of successful fly types and construction. We will cover the most common patterns and materials and tie a number of the most trusted and time-tested New England flies for local streams, lakes and the ocean.

Intermediate Fly Tying is our slightly more advanced tying class - a great way to improve your skills or brush off rusty ones!
This class is perfect for those who have been tying their own flies for a while, or for people who have attended our introductory class and are ready to advance and refine their skills. Students should be able to tie basic fly patterns and have a working knowledge of fly tying methods and techniques. Along with a thorough focus on New England saltwater and freshwater flies, we will be tying more involved patterns than in the introductory class, using new and more varied materials.

Scott Round is an avid fisherman who has been fly fishing (both fresh and saltwater) and tying flies for over 30 years.
