Popular since its release in 2019, The Lazer Sharp® Eagle Eye jig has a new weedless option. It utilize the newly announced American-made Lazer Sharp LV570 Pro-V jig hook with lead Aspirin-style jig head and features a stainless steel weed guard. The weed guard protects the gap between the hook and soft plastic, keeping weeds from snagging the bait, and allowing for great bait presentation in grass and weeds. 

The jig's Pro-V bend, which in conjunction with the Aspirin-style head, offers more streamlined profile when falling through the water column and when dragging through grass or weeds. The Pro-V bend is also stronger than comparable round bend jig hooks, and creates a pocket in the hook throat that holds live bait in place.

A venerable brand of Wright & McGill Co.®, the concept for Eagle Claw® originated in the 1920s with Drew McGill. While fishing on the Colorado River, he witnessed two large eagles circling overhead and marveled at the penetrating power of their talons when they spiraled downward to grip a piece of bare limb. Realizing the penetrating power of those claws, Drew set out to produce a fishhook design with similar power.
