Refunds, Exchanges & Returns

Returns

Most items purchased at Kittery Trading Post, whether in store or online, can be returned within 30 days of purchase or delivery for a refund or exchange. Some exceptions apply. Certain items, including perishable goods, intimate or sanitary products, and personalized or special order items, may have shorter return windows or may not be eligible for return due to hygiene or legal reasons. From time to time, promotional periods may include extended return windows.

Refunds

  • Within 30 days with original receipt: Refund to original form of payment
  • Without proof of purchase, merchandise credit will be issued at the lowest selling price
  • Items must be unused and in resalable condition with original packaging.
  • Kittery Trading Post reserves the right to limit or decline returns or exchanges based on condition, usage, or receipt availability

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • Please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will make it right.

Non Returnable Items

  • Perishable goods
  • Intimate or sanitary items
  • Personalized or special order items
  • Firearms and select regulated products

Refund by Mail

  • Enter a reason code and quantity next to the item(s) being returned. The code will enable us to better serve you in the future and properly handle your return. If reason K or L, please explain.
  • Circle the name and address to which your refund should be sent, and place and "X" in the box next to "REFUND."
  • Enclose the return portion of the form with your item(s), and ship to KTP Distribution Center, ATTN: Returns, 85 Industrial Park Dr., Suite 1320, Dover, NH 03820. You may wish to insure your package.

Exchange by Mail

  • Complete a new online order for the item you wish to receive, and record this new order number for your records.
  • On the return portion of the packing slip form, place an "X" next to "EXCHANGE" and write in your new order number. Upon receipt of your returned item(s), we will promptly process your refund which will include the shipping charge on your new order.
  • Enter a reason code and quantity next to the item(s) being returned. The code will enable us to better serve you in the future and properly handle your return.
  • Enclose the return portion of the form with your item(s), and ship to: KTP Distribution Center, ATTN: Returns, 85 Industrial Park Dr., Suite 1320, Dover, NH 03820. You may wish to insure your package.

Returns at Store

  • Please bring the item(s) you wish to return or exchange along with the return portion of the packing slip form to the Kittery Trading Post Customer Service Desk in Kittery (located at our Main Entrance), Maine, where your refund or exchange will be promptly processed.

IN-STORE PURCHASES:

Store Return Policy:

  • Within 30 days and with sales receipt original form of payment refund. (ID required on refunds over $75.00)
  • After 30 days or without sales receipt merchandise credit only.
  • No cash refund on gift card or merchandise credits.
  • Items must be unused and in resalable condition with original packaging.
  • Kittery Trading Post reserves the right to limit or decline any returns or exchanges.
  • All packaged food and personal care items are final sale.
  • Firearms are subject to warranty policies, no returns allowed.

Refund/Exchange by Mail

  • Ship to KTP Distribution Center, ATTN: Returns, 85 Industrial Park Dr., Suite 1320, Dover, NH 03820. You may wish to insure your package.
  • Include the following information with your return:
    • First + Last Name
    • Billing Address
    • Telephone Number
    • Email Address
    • Reason for Return
    • Copy of your Receipt

  • Please bring the item(s) you wish to return or exchange along with a copy of your receipt to the Kittery Trading Post Customer Service Desk (located at our Main Entrance), in Kittery, Maine, for processing.
