The secret to the Thunder Pro's comfort is Zamberlan's new Active Heel Pad (AHP) construction, which strategically positions a low-density PU insert pocketed within the heel of the insole. The Thunder Pro derives its toughness from durable, Hydrobloc®-treated Perwanger leather uppers, lined with GORE-TEX® waterproof-breathable membranes. For support in off-trail, rugged terrain, the soft collar protects the ankle, while PU toe and heel rands shrug off rocks and brush. Because every ounce adds up over long trips, the Thunder Pro uses a lightweight, high-visibility Vibram® Junko Lite outsole with Megagrip® for maximum traction with minimum weight.
