Winchester Wildcat 22 Thumbhole SR 22 LR 18" 10-Round Rifle

The refinement of the popular Winchester® Wildcat continues with the addition of a sleek gray laminate thumbhole stock. This rifle gives you all the innovative advantages of the exciting Wildcat autoloading rifle in a version that has an eye on precision. The thumbhole stock is made from durable laminated wood for excellent stability to limit shifts in point of impact. The comb is adjustable to allow you optimize eye to scope alignment. The grip is vertical for comfort from the bench and optimal finger to trigger placement. The fore-end is slightly wider for added stability from a rest.

The Wildcat SR is also "suppressor-ready" with a muzzle that finished with common 1/2" x 28 TPI threads to accept an optional suppressor. (A suppressor is not included with this rifle.) Firearms suppressors offer significant hearing protection to the shooter and bystanders. The lower receiver assembly contains the trigger group, reversible safety and bolt assembly and is easily removed for service with the push of a button. With the lower receiver assembly removed, the bore can be cleaned from the chamber end. The polymer upper receiver assembly features an integrated Picatinny rail for optics. Dual, ambidextrous magazine releases and easy to reach bolt lock and release buttons make operation easy.

The Wildcat features a durable, 10-round polymer magazine. The rotary design is reliable, easy to load and has a bolt stop that locks the bolt back after the last round has been fired. The Wildcat also accepts magazines that fit 10/22® rifles.
