This pistol features the Taurus® Modular System - a serialized modular chassis that enables end users to quickly swap frame sizes between the full size, compact, and subcompact. There's also an ambidextrous slide release paired with a reversible magazine catch to accommodate both left- and right-handed shooters. The TaurusTX9 uses industry standard dovetails for its iron sights, readily accepting many aftermarket options. It's optics-ready right out of the box, utilizing the existing Taurus T.O.R.O. System. The full-size TaurusTX9 has a 4.5" barrel and 17+1 capacity. Four interchangeable backstraps enable additional customization, so shooters can properly fit the gun to their hands.
