- Demands relatively new snow and low air humidity - below 45-50%
- New fallen snow: -1ºC to -7ºC; 30ºF to 19ºF
- Transformed fine grained snow: -3ºC to -10ºC; 27ºF to 14ºF
- Very frequently used wax, both in racing and touring
- New fallen snow: 0®C to -3®C; 32®F to 27®F
- Transformed fine grained snow: -2®C to -16®C; 28®F to 21®F
- For a secure grip, apply thicker the warmer it gets
