Description
Developed in close cooperation with Crucible Industries, CPM SPY27 is a cobalt-enriched powder metallurgy steel that offers an excellent balance of toughness, corrosion-resistance, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. Available only on Spyderco® knives, this steel is the heart of the latest expression of the Manix 2 XL.
One of their largest and most formidable folders, its broad, full-flat-ground blade takes full advantage of the attributes of SPY27. The blade is supported by a high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism and a handle featuring full, skeletonized stainless steel liners, cobalt blue peel-ply-textured G10 scales, an oversized lanyard hole, and a reversible pocket clip that provides a choice of right or left-side tip-up carry.
