It is the boat tail counterpart to the flatbase #1540 Pro-Hunter bullet, but when ranges exceed 300 yards, this bullet is the choice for best downrange performance. It's exceptionally accurate and may be used in 6mm cartridges, such as the 243 Winchester, 6mm Remington and magnums. It also is a very fine bullet for larger varmints at long ranges.
