Sierra SportsMaster 45 Cal. 240 Grain .4515" JHC Handgun Bullet (100)

$48.99

Description

SKU: 00691428
Vintage models usually had a .454 inch diameter bore. However, modern Colt, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Taurus, and most other handguns, including replicas of the Colt Single Action Army, will have barrels with a .451 inch bore. This bullet can be used in vintage 45 Colt handguns, but sizing cases may require special attention in older reloading dies.

This 240 grain has a cannelure for roll crimping, and it may be loaded into 45 Colt cartridges to be used in rifles with tubular magazines. It's very effective for hunting because of the reliable expansion of the hollow cavity PowerJacket design and trademark Sierra® accuracy. The reliable expansion characteristics of this bullet make it suitable for cartridges ranging from the 45 ACP up through moderate loads in the 454 Casull for either hunting or target competition.
