The slipjoint may be the most ubiquitous type of pocket knife ever. Your father probably carried one. Your grandfather almost certainly carried one. It's very likely that your mother even had one rattling around in her purse. So when the folks at GiantMouse® began to design their take on the slipjoint, they incorporated their collective feelings of responsibility to prior generations of slipjoint users to get it right - to produce a simple, yet beautiful non-locking folder that would be sure to please.

Function is important. The Farley was designed with a stop pin on the close side to prevent the blade from touching the spring if closed hard. 

Details are important. The blade and spring on the Farley were designed with radiused spines. To allow for optimal grip when pulling the knife from your pocket, they machined cut-outs on the scales on each side of the jimping. 

Lines are important. The lines of the Farley were designed to evoke an appreciation for finer things and pride of ownership as it catches your attention while sitting on your desk. Think 1960's Concept Car meets the Scandinavian classic knife.
