Maine Balsam Fir 4" x 4" Cardinal Balsam Pillow
Maine Balsam Fir Products screen-printed pillow collection features artwork commissioned by local artists. Inspired by the flora & fauna of the North Woods and waters, this lovely design - combined with the distinctive scent of its balsam fir - will evoke memories of happy summer days for years to come!
- Pillow features a red cardinal on a snowy branch w/berries on a natural background
- Natural balsam fir tips encased in cotton
- Hand printed in Maine
The products are made from hand-cut balsam fir branches which they process in the tiny hamlet of North Paris, Maine. The balsam they use is collected on small family farms as a secondary product from tree-cutting businesses.
They're dedicated to producing some of the very finest balsam pillows available anywhere in the world. Wendy and Jack employ local people - many are mothers and grandmothers who sew at home. In the tradition of New England Yankee Craftsmanship, each of their pillows are meticulously made.
Balsam - the "warm friendship" herb.
