Patagonia Provisions® Black Bean Soup mix combines dehydrated, organic black beans, veggies and spices - including chipotle pepper and sweet corn - for a hearty taste of the Southwest. This versatile soup mix can also be prepared as a dip, taco filling or vegan meat alternative.

Cooking instructions: Bring two cups of water to a boil, add contents of package, return to a boil and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Or to conserve fuel on the trail, boil for one minute, turn off heat, cover and let stand nine minutes. For an extra treat, add crumbled Cotija cheese, avocado slices and a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
