Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Mossy Oak Bottomland 30-06 Springfield 22" 4-Round Rifle

The original X-Bolt Speed rifle has been a top performer in the field for several years. Not only did the Speed rifle break new ground with its straight-shooting features, it was also cosmetically different than other bolt-action rifles with a barreled action protected by a durable Cerakote® finish, camouflage on the lightweight composite stock, and a fluted, sporter weight precision barrel. The awesome appearance of the Speed rifle was more than ably backed-up by its tack driving performance.

Like the other Speed rifles, the X-Bolt 2 Speed Mossy Oak® Bottomland® is built for the dedicated hunters chasing whitetail in the hardwoods or elk in the Rockies. It retains features like a fluted sporter contour barrel that keeps the rifle light, maneuverable, and easy to carry. The muzzle is threaded with 5/8"-24 suppressor ready threads to accept the included radial muzzle brake, thread protector cap, or install a suppressor. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

The Cerakote Smoked Bronze finish is applied to the redesigned action and barrel for metal protection that exceeds traditional bluing or stainless steel. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds.

The lightweight Vari-Tech composite stock features 3-way adjustment, the concealment of Mossy Oak Bottomland for excellent concealment in a variety of terrain and environments, and a thicker Inflex recoil pad. With the Vari-Tech stock, Browning® has a configurable stock with adjustment that is on par with many chassis-style stocks. Adjustments can be easily made to the comb height to dial-in the alignment between your eye and optics. Length of pull is adjusted internally with spacers for a solid, rattle-free feel. Even the grip angle can be changed by switching between the sporter and vertical grip modules. On the subject of grip, rubber overmolding on the gripping surfaces provides added security in all conditions.
