Traditional hoist systems are often bulky, awkward to manage, and prone to tangling. Loose rope must be stored, deployed, and controlled every time you prepare to climb - adding unnecessary friction to an otherwise efficient system. The Micro Retrax™ Hoist was designed to streamline that process.
When you reach the tree you want to climb, simply clip the hoist carabiner to your bow or gear. As you climb, the retractable line automatically extends while maintaining light tension so the line stays controlled and doesn’t tangle or blow in the wind. Once you are safely in position, hoist your gear up and the line automatically retracts neatly back into the housing.
