Already taken Hunter Ed? This Archery Hunter Safety Addendum course presented by Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will get you certified in archery hunting, building off the standards you've already completed.

ABOUT THE COURSE

This course builds on the standards that you have already met with hunter education and focuses on bow and crossbow use specifically. The Addendum course is convenient and a great way to become certified in archery hunting with a half day class. You will then be eligible to purchase your archery hunting license and hunt with a bow or crossbow in Maine. Available to anyone 10 and over that has a valid hunter education certificate. There will be NO drawing of any bows or cocking any crossbows. Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife provides all the gear. Students do not need to bring anything but a snack and/or drink.
