Patented self-calibrating technology combines the display’s barometer data with the outdoor sensor’s measurements to provide a personalized weather forecast 12 hours from your current conditions.
This personal weather station also detects lightning strikes up to 25 miles away and offers on-screen alerts along with running strike totals for the day, week, and month. It also indicates a heat index or freeze alert, giving early warning for outdoor activities and to gardeners so they can cover plants! The indoor display is AC-powered and uses three AAA batteries for optional backup in case of a power outage. The outdoor sensor has an integrated keyhole hanger for easy outdoor mounting within 330 feet of the display and requires four AA batteries.
