Springfield Saint Victor AR-15 5.56x45mm NATO (223 Rem) 16" 30-Round Rifle

New for 2019, the Saint™ Victor from Springfield Armory® is designed to give you everything you need on a premium defensive firearm, right out of the box.

The lower receiver is Accu-Tite™ tension-bonded to a flat-top forged upper receiver and features a 16" CMV barrel that is Melonite® finished inside and out for the ultimate in corrosion-resistance. The rock-solid, patent-pending M-Lok™ free-float 15" handguard protects the mid-length gas system and provides plenty of space for accessory attachment.

Unlike many AR rifles on the market today, Saint Victor features a pinned low-profile gas block, a must-have on a professional use defensive rifle. Also included are spring-loaded flip-up sights, an incredibly crisp, grit-free enhanced nickel-boron coated single-stage flat trigger, and Springfield Armory's proprietary muzzle brake that eliminates barrel rise and softens recoil. The staked receiver end plate features a QD mount for sling attachment.

George Washington ordered the creation of the Springfield Armory in 1777 to store revolutionary ammunition and gun carriages. In 1794, the armory began the manufacturing of muskets for the young country.

For the next 150 years, Springfield Armory functioned as a supplier for every major American conflict as well as a think-tank for new firearms concepts. In 1968, citing budgetary concerns, the US Government closed the armory. In 1974, the passionate Reese family rescued not only the name Springfield Armory, but the philosophy that drove it for centuries.

With reverence for the legacy of the armory, the Reese family resurrected the mostly historically significant designs produced by the armory - the M1 Garand, the 1911, and the M14. Fueled by the same obsession for improved manufacturing techniques and cutting edge design that inspired the likes of John C. Garand, they've continued to develop products that are loyal to Springfield's® heritage while ensuring the armory's place in the progression of American firearms.
