Calling all Kids!
Here’s a rundown of events intended especially for the kiddos during our week-long Septemberfest celebration:
Labor Day Monday, Maine’s finest traveling petting zoo comes to KTP complete with pony rides and domesticated as well as exotic animals.
Many of these animals are on display for the fair season, but all remain pets the entire year at Pony X-Press, a Maine family-owned business. So don’t be surprised if you see animal babies that were here at KTP last year now new parents with babies of their own!
If you can’t make it on Labor Day Monday., the traveling zoo returns to Kittery Trading Post on Saturday & Sunday. It's a fun teaching & educational experience for the entire family!
Transform your look with face art! Impress yourself, friends & family with elaborate face painted designs by talented face painting artists.
Tickle your imagination with balloon creations of various animals and everyday objects.
It’s an invasion of the inflatables! Four fun-filled inflatables for the kids to “bounce” from one to another.
Ahoy mately! Arrrgh ye ready to climb aboard the PIRATE SHIP and sail the seven seas? Only the bravest of boys or girls should attempt to captain this mighty vessel!
Move along to the MONSTER ROCK CLIMB SLIDE for a fun & healthy activity. Climb up 18 feet for a sleek & fast drop to the cushioned bottom, sure to satisfy thrill seekers both young & old.
Ready for more of a challenge? Try your hand on the BOOT CAMP OBSTACLE COURSE. Have mom or dad time how long it takes you to complete the course.
Finally, shoot some hoops at the MINI BASKETBALL SHOOTOUT inflatable.

White Pine Programs is a nonprofit organization in the Mt. Agamenticus region of southern Maine serving to connect youth, teens & adults with high-quality nature connected experiences. On Labor Day, the White Pine Programs staff will be at the store sharing their knowledge, passion & skills.

Challenge your sense of adventure on this 30-foot climbing wall. Have someone on the ground capture your climb to the top with a photo.
Did you know what George Mallory, the English mountaineer, was attributed with saying when asked why he wanted to climb Mt. Everest? “Because it’s there.”
Try your hand at an exciting speed target system. Housed in a 28-ft. trailer, the range provides opportunities for kids and adults to demo a selection of airguns in a safe setting.
