Sawyer Paddles & Oars® sprouted from Ralph Sawyer, the first canoe competitor to be inducted into the Canoeing Hall of Fame. Ralph established a company that would provide customers with well-designed performance proven paddles that could endure generations of use. Sawyer quickly became recognized across the globe for quality, performance, value, and beauty.

Since 1987 Bruce Bergstrom, an experienced waterman by passion, has added state of the art design and crafting efficiencies to a solid Sawyer legacy. Sawyer now offers a full line of modern and traditional products for oarsmen, canoeists, kayakers, surfers, and paddlers of all genres. They continue to innovate and evolve their product line.
