RIO OutBound Short Floating / Hover / Intermediate Fly Line

RIO’s® OutBound Short is designed to cast large and heavy flies, and get huge distances easily. Built with a short, aggressive front taper, it easily carries large, weighted streamers, and a powerful head design that loads rods deeply and quickly for fast, easy distance.

The folks at RIO have enhanced the performance of the line by building it with SlickCast™ - RIO's proprietary coating technology. SlickCast creates some of the slickest, most durable fly lines on the market. Lab tests show that lines built with SlickCast have the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line.

Making up this version of the OutBound Short series is floating line with 15 ft. of hover sinking line, then 15 ft. of clear intermediate sinking line at the front (F/H/I), for fishing 2-3 ft. deep.
