Crossbow Hunter Safety Course - 2019

Kittery Trading Post is pleased to offer our Hunter Safety (Crossbow) Course free and open to the public.

12:00pm–4:00pm

To be eligible to purchase a crossbow hunting permit, any person (16 years of age and older) must hold a valid license to hunt big game (either a big game hunting license or an archery license), and must submit proof of having successfully completed an archery hunting education course and a crossbow hunting course or evidence of having previously held adult archery and crossbow hunting permits issued specifically for the purpose of hunting with a crossbow or bow and arrow in Maine after 1979.

All of KTP's Hunter Safety courses are team taught. This course is led by seasoned KTP staff instructor Gary Rohm.

This Crossbow Safety Course is held in our Katahdin seminar room at Kittery Trading Post and limited to 40 people. NOTE: Students MUST have previously taken the archery hunting education course before they take the crossbow course.
