Do you know the role of the Queen, Drone and Worker Bee? Join us in the KTP Katahdin Seminar Room to learn about the role honey bees play in nature and why they are so important to our ecosystem. This interactive seminar will include a movie and feature two observation hives where attendees will have the chance to observe bee colonies in their hives. A question & answer session will follow the discussion.

About the instructors:
Bill Turner is a former State Bee inspector and recently retired from the Fire Department. Nancy Mangion has been working with bees for 35 years and holds seminars in Boston and offers her own Beekeepers workshop.
