Round Up for Conservation

You can make a difference. Round up for conservation when you shop at KTP and all the money donated will go to local and regional conservation efforts!

About:
In May 2013, Kittery Trading Post embarked on an exciting way to give back to our partners in conservation.  Round Up for Conservation is just one of the ways we can support conservation groups and projects in the area.

Here’s How it Works:
At checkout, a KTP cashier will ask you if you want to Round Up for Conservation. If you answer yes, and for example, your purchase totaled $8.43, your final purchase will be rounded to $9.00, with the .57 cent remainder going into our Round up for Conservation fund.

Every three months, all the money donated to our Round Up for Conservation program is given to regional and local conservation groups or non-profit outdoor educational organizations.

Who:
Some of the past groups we have supported with these funds include, Winter Kids, which is an organization that assists children in developing healthy lifelong habits through education and fun, outdoor winter activities, The White Pine Program, that provides transformational nature experiences, that build a lifelong connection to the natural world, as well as the Appalachian Mountain Club, Maine Island Trail Association, Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, York Land Trust, Nature Conservancy, Coastal Conservation, and many more!

Thank you to all of you who have contributed to making every penny count in preservation of our natural resources. Since its inception in May 2013, we have donated over $300,000 to these organizations!
