Fort Foster Beach Clean Up

Maine Island Trail Association and Kittery Trading Post are once again teaming up with the community to clear these historic beaches of debris accumulated by winter storms.

Kick off the spring cleanup season and join MITA and Kittery Trading Post for a shoreline cleanup of Fort Foster in Kittery! Volunteers will meet at 10 am for an overview before getting started. We will clean the shorelines until around noon, at which point lunch will be provided for volunteers (bring your own bottled water). MITA will provide trash bags. Please bring your own work gloves, rain gear, and wear sturdy footwear. This is a great way to help out the Town of Kittery and get the park cleaned up from winter storms before the summer.

Please RSVP - Text name & no. of people to 207.370.9876 or email chris@mita.org (Your RSVP helps ensure we have enough food for all our volunteers!)
