Model 336
Known for its rugged styling, pinpoint accuracy, and incredible dependability, this popular pistol grip carbine has a flat, solid top receiver and hammer block safety. The 336C has become one of the most popular rifles in North America. Its genuine American black walnut stock is enhanced with fine cut checkering.

Model 336SS
Foul weather won't faze this stainless version of the field-proven Model 336 in 30/30. Most of its major metal parts are machined from stainless steel forgings, others are nickel-plated. The pistol grip American walnut stock features classic cut checkering, and sights include an adjustable rear and ramp front sight with brass bead and removable Wide-Scan® hood.

Model 336XLR
For top performance in those tough long-range events, the Model 1895 Cowboy is a must for Cowboy Action Shooters. It's also an ideal big game rifle for hunters who appreciate the nostalgia of 19th Century-style firearms. This authentically Old Western-styled 45/70 features a 26" tapered octagon barrel with deep-cut Ballard-type rifling, 9-shot tubular magazine, adjustable Marble semi-buckhorn rear and Marble carbine front sight.

The American black walnut stock has a straight-grip, a hard rubber butt plate and a blued steel fore-end cap. To accommodate tang sight installation, the serial number is located on the left side of the receiver.

In 1870, John M. Marlin hung out his sign on State Street, in New Haven, announcing the manufacturing his own line of revolvers and derringers. He was able to attract an outstanding team of inventors, and together developed breakthrough and enduring models, such as Models 1891 and 1893. Today known as Models 39 and 336 respectively, they are the oldest shoulder arm designs in the world still being produced.

When John Marlin died in 1901, his two sons took over the business and began a diversification program. In 1915, during World War I, a New York syndicate bought the company and renamed it the Marlin Rockwell Corporation. Marlin became one of the largest machine gun producers in the world for the US and its Allies. After the War, the sporting firearms part of the business became a new corporation. It staggered until 1923, when it went on the auction block, selling to a lawyer named Frank Kenna. The company remained in the Kenna family until 2007 when it was sold to Remington Arms.

The company John Marlin founded still remains dedicated to his original principles. Marlin products continue to be dependable and long-lasting products.
