Aluminum absorbs shock better than steel, and all DNZ® Game Reaper® scope mounts are created from a solid block of aluminum. The lightweight design is approximately one-third the weight of steel.

The measurement from top of receiver to the center line of the scope tube is 1.062". The outside-to-outside of rings measurement is 4.29", and the rings are 0.625"wide.
