Liberty’s® Civil Defense rounds travel at velocities greater than 2000 feet per second in 9mm and 40 S&W, and over 1900 fps in the 45 ACP - near double that of any competitor.

Handgun rounds have historically been plagued with limited effective range and low velocities because of design paradigms and limited cartridge case capacity. With the elimination of lead, and complete redesign of the projectile for maximum terminal effect, cartridge capacity is increased and design is optimized to achieve paradigm-changing velocities.
