Daiwa Lexa HD Hyper Speed Baitcasting Reel

The new Lexa HD makes smart refinements and improvements to the popular Lexa line. The reel’s capacity to cast big baits has been greatly improved.

The upgraded clutch system has been beefed up making it more solid and durable for baitcasters who put the reel in gear a hundred times a day, and the CRBB (Corrosion-Resistant Ball Bearing) system is smooth and silent without sacrificing freespool or distance.

To increase torque and cranking power, several improvements have been made. An extended handle arm increases leverage, and a stainless steel drive gear & pinion gear beefed up the gearing. The stout aluminum frame and side plate solidifie the interacting components. Finally, Magforce™ cast control breaking system is a magnetic based design and highly tuned for distance casting.
