Mepps Aglia Wooly Worm #0 Spin Fly Lure

Virtually snagless, these lightweight single-hook Mepps® are ideal for both the trout and panfish enthusiast.

For great fishing action, work weed beds, submerged timber, rip-rap, undercut banks, and just about any other cover where fish hang out. Use silver on bright days, gold when it's overcast, and copper in streams after a heavy rain, or in dark, stained water.

  • Dressed with classic wooly worm
  • Stainless steel shaft to resist bending
  • Extra strong folded brass clevis
  • Solid brass blade, body and bead
  • Single hook
  • Suggested use: Panfish, stream trout

The Mepps® name is an acronym for Manufacture d'Engins de Précisions pour la Pêche Sportive.

Mr. Andre Meulnart designed the first Mepps, and what is commonly referred to as the original French spinner, in 1938. He named his creation the Aglia®, which is Latin for butterfly. Since then there have been tens of millions of Mepps produced, and they remain one of the most lures for a wide variety of species.
