The Blue 84 story started in 1984, when two childhood friends, Mark Fritz and Mike Hutchinson decided to chase their dreams! They were two teenagers who wanted to make their own path, so they started printing t-shirts in Mark's parents' basement to sell in their hometown of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on its famous mile-long beach.

Today, Blue 84 has grown as a wholesale supplier of custom-designed apparel and accessories, still located in beautiful Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, with over 600 team members, six dogs, one superhero and more than 10,000 satisfied customers! What started in that basement next to the lake has grown to a 325,000 square foot facility.
