BlueWater 7/16" AssaultLine Rope - Price Per Foot

BlueWater® offered the world's first static kernmantle rope for caving in 1969. This design evolved into the current BlueWater II Plus series of low elongation / static ropes. Today BlueWater ropes still set the world standard in quality, design and durability.

It is vital for a low elongation rope to absorb the energy of accidental loading which could result in rope or anchor failure or individual injury. Only BlueWater ropes are designed to absorb this energy and limit these risks. The sheath and core strands of the BlueWater II Plus are made with a double twist, cabled construction. This doubles the amount of time needed to manufacture each individual strand before braiding but we feel the result is worth the extra time and attention.

AssaultLine is the original low visibility, low elongation / static rope. It was designed specifically for military, police, and other applications where low visibility is required.

BlueWater® traces its roots to a family-owned textile business that began manufacturing in Georgia in 1890. Their modern history began in 1969 when they manufactured the first American-made kernmantle caving rope.

In 1975, BlueWater introduced the first synthetic low elongation rope for fire and industrial high-rise rescue. Synthetic nylon fiber was a radical departure from the norm of one inch manila ropes that were in use. Their UL Classified NFPA 1983/2012 edition life safety ropes have become the most widely used ropes of this type in the country and are the first choice of fire and rescue groups around the world.

In 1995, BlueWater became the first American manufacturer in the industry to obtain ISO 9000 Certification. ISO 9000 is an internationally recognized Quality Management system. It insures the highest possible quality in manufacturing and service. Constant monitoring of raw materials, component parts, and in-line processes by our fully equipped laboratory is an essential part of our ISO Program. This guarantees no deviation in the manufacturing process.

After seven consecutive generations in textile manufacturing, BlueWater is one of the industry’s standards in quality and durability.
