During World War II, American servicemen needed a reliable stove in the field. Coleman once again delivered with its GI Pocket Stove. As the 50s approached and America started migrating outdoors, Coleman anticipated the trend and developed a galvanized steel cooler.
The migration to the outdoors continued fast and furious as did Coleman’s innovations. By the end of the 1960s, the Coleman name was synonymous with outdoor equipment including tents, sleeping bags, and plastic-lined coolers.
The revolution continues. Today, the company offers an eclectic line of products including a line just for kids, a brand new generation of lanterns and stoves that run on Coleman's Powermax® fuel system, coolers with wheels and electric coolers with lights, and much more!
